Leon Levy Nature Preserve
Leon Levy is a 25 acre nature preserve and a treasure on the island of Eleuthera. Visitors can walk miles of trails through native habitat and mangroves, and view beautiful orchids, food and medicinal plants and gorgeous hardwood tress that played an important role in the history of the island. At Leon Levy Nature preserve, guests can learn about traditional bush medicine, feed sea turtles and learn about the living history of Eleuthera.
A highly recommended excursion for all guests, especially those with families and young children. Darby’s advice is to dovetail a trip to Leon Levy Nature preserve with a lunch and refreshing beverage at Tippy’s restaurant just up the road.
